Corporate venture-building holds immense potential for established organisations to drive innovation, capture new market opportunities and to make financial returns. However, implementing effective deal sourcing and deal selection strategies are critical for the success of corporate venture corporations (CVCs). Implementing a robust deal sourcing and selection process is a fundamental component in ensuring that CVCs are successful in their endeavours.
Capital Markets Malaysia, in collaboration with Bursa Malaysia, invites Malaysian public listed companies (PLCs) and government-linked companies (GLCs) to attend this programme with the aim of providing participants with a deep understanding of corporate venture building, focusing on effective deal sourcing and selection and startup valuation methodologies. Participants will gain practical insights and tools to effectively evaluate and assess the value of startup companies within a corporate venture capital context.
The programme is designed for participants to identify the various strategies available and identify promising investment opportunities in corporate venture capital.
