The Centre for Sustainable Corporations, an initiative by Capital Markets Malaysia, held the Climate Scenario Analysis Series: two separate workshops on developing and applying scenario analysis in the disclosure of climate-related risks.
Designed for corporate sustainability professionals as well as sustainability-focused stakeholders within the financial sector, the workshops covered recommendations by the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures relating to scenario analysis, and the process of applying scenario analysis to climate-related risks and opportunities.
Recognising the inherent differences in the various types of risks, the two workshops in this series focused exclusively on physical risks and transition risks led by subject matter experts Yulia Dobrolyubova, Aniket Jalgaonkar, Trista Chen, Pralabh B. from ERM: Environmental Resources Management.
